Got email immediately confirming submission, then about 7 hours later got email approval of match, saying up to seven business days for for account to reflect upgrade.

Five years ago, I joined Choice Privileges, received a member number but never stayed. Yesterday, I emailed this info.:

Screenshot or copy of your other program's loyalty card (with expiration date)"
Within 4 hours of sending the email, I received the Choice Privileges reply:
Congratulations! Based on your elite level with Hilton Honors, you have been upgraded to a Choice Privileges® Elite Platinum member; the highest level awarded under our Status Match program. Your new elite status will remain in effect until December 31st of 2021. After this date, you must qualify for elite status each calendar year by staying with Choice Hotels

On 5/1/2021, as a new BWR member, I followed directions inserted below. After 24 hours, I did not receive an automated reply from BW. I began searching for comments about the promo. I found this site. I followed the US link from the 1/13/21 guest and submitted the online form. No immediate auto reply. I'll update this post when I hear from BW.
