They told me I need to stay 4 nights to get the status match upgrade - Im located in the US nowhere near their hotels... is it worth it to just book 4 nights in the cheapest Scandic and try to check in online/phone?
Anyone have any ideas to complete this?
"To receive your matched Level, you must stay four qualifying nights at one of our hotels before the 30th of September.
Once you have stayed these nights, your Level will automatically be upgraded to Loyal Friend.
Please note that if you do not stay four nights within this period, the upgrade will not apply."
