(Anyone have any ideas on how i can "stay" 4 nights without actually staying in the hotel i was thinking to book the cheapest rooms and see if there is a check in online/phone option... I'm located in the US - my end goal is to do the Scandic to SAS match) The Rep said - "In order for the upgrade to go through you must stay minimum 4 nights at Scandic to receive the Loyal Friend (Level 5) upgrade. When you done this the system will automatically upgrade you."

After seeing the first match success someone posted back on June 27, I decided to send an email to flysmiles@srilankan.com requesting a status match from my British Airways Gold (oneworld emerald) to Srilankan Platinum (oneworld emerald) because I fly back and forth to CMB a lot for work and after a few days I received an email asking for the following information below.
